Terms of Service
1. License grant
When you purchase QueryDeck, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the software on all macOS devices owned or controlled by you (the licensed user). The license is per-user, not per-device.
2. Free trial
QueryDeck offers a 14-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, you must purchase a license to continue using the software.
3. Pricing and payments
The current license price is $79 USD, paid once. This includes all minor updates and bug fixes for the purchased major version.
An optional update plan ($39/year) provides access to future major version upgrades. If you do not renew, you keep your current version. It does not stop working.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
4. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with QueryDeck for any reason, contact us at support@querydeck.app within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- → Redistribute, sublicense, or resell QueryDeck
- → Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- → Share your license key with others
- → Use QueryDeck for any unlawful purpose
6. Your data
QueryDeck runs locally on your Mac. Your database credentials, queries, and data remain on your device. We have no access to your databases or query results. You are solely responsible for the security of your database connections and credentials.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
QueryDeck is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use QueryDeck at your own risk, particularly when interacting with production databases.
8. Limitation of liability
In no event shall QueryDeck or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the software, including but not limited to data loss, database corruption, or downtime. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.
9. Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using QueryDeck and delete all copies. Sections 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of QueryDeck after changes constitutes acceptance.
